We'd Love to See You at RVA Fashion Week!

It’s that time of year again! Next week (April 25th to May 1st), Richmond’s 14th annual Fashion Week will take place around the city, with events like ‘The Exchange,’ a two-day RVA Fashion Week marketplace, networking events, workshops, self-care seminars, after parties and of course, fashion shows. Founded in 2008 by VCU students, the event has been a highlight for Richmond’s fashion fanatics and designers.

With the intention of “impacting local businesses, boosting the city’s economy, benefitting endless non-profits, getting models and designers discovered by top agencies and publications, and gaining national attention,” RVA Fashion Week has been successful in putting Richmond on the map in more ways than one.

To kick off the week on Monday April 25th, C. Miller Boutique will be participating in ‘The Exchange’ from 5-9 P.M. at Tang and Biscuit on Moore St. DJ Markus Gold will be setting the vibe for fashion shows featuring streetwear and swimsuits and the ultimate shopping experience with local vendors like myself. Early bird admission is only $7 right now, with prices expected to increase on Monday.

I remember attending my first RVAFW and leaving each event feeling so inspired and excited about where my business was heading. Having the opportunity to participate in the event as a vendor this year has only multiplied my excitement, showing me how much room there is for this boutique to grow. ‘The Exchange’ marketplace is the perfect place to shop local and enjoy all that Richmond’s creative minds have to offer. We’d love to see you there, but if you can’t make it don’t worry, we’re only just getting started.
